The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to formalize our commitment to users privacy of the website www.mazerconsulting.com operated by MAZER Consulting SAS ("MazerConsulting").

Privacy policy and terms & conditions together dictate a contractual set of our services. All capitalized terms not defined in this policy are defined in the Terms and Conditions.

In order to provide a good service for our Site, we process your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR") and under the conditions set out below.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We collect and process personal data for the purpose of providing our Services or communicating about those Services exclusively, in compliance with the GDPR.

We only collect personal data that is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. 2. When do we collect your personal data and what data is collected?

2.1. When do we collect your personal data?

We may collect and store the personal data you provide to us, including when you

  • answer questions on our site;
  • create an account;
  • subscribe to our newsletter or download content (such as a guide, checklist or document template);
  • send such information to our customer service by email, chat or phone;
  • make a payment.

You can always choose not to give us this information. Nevertheless, they are in some cases essential for the proper execution of a service.

We use your personal data to enable the implementation and management of the Site Services and to respond to your specific requests. We also use your personal information to operate and improve our Services, Site and approach. This information is used solely by us and allows us to better tailor our Services to your needs. In particular, when you use the questionnaires, we reserve the right to collect, collate and record some of your data, for example your response times, default choices, etc.

As far as Lawyers are concerned, we use personal data exclusively for the creation of individual profiles published on the Site and for the Matchmaking service.

If you opted-in to receive emails and mini-messages from us when you created your Account, then you will receive email and alpha-numeric messages about our products and promotions. We will then use the personal data you provided when you registered.

You can unsubscribe from these mailings at any time.

2.2 What personal data is collected?

2.2.1 Creating an Account or Profile

Access to some of our Services requires the prior creation of an Account. In accordance with the General Terms of Use, you will be asked to provide a certain amount of personal information when creating your Account, including your first and last names, your postal address, your e-mail address and your telephone number.

When creating a personalized profile on the Site, each profile communicates its name, first name, postal address, email address and telephone number.

2.2.2 Creation of Documents and Completion of Formalities

In the context of the creation of Documents (and the eventual completion of Formalities), you will be asked to complete a questionnaire in which personal data may be collected, such as

Within the framework of the generation of a Document or the completion of formalities, we may also ask you for information concerning legal entities (company or association) such as :

  • name, first name, address, email address and telephone number of the legal representative of the legal entity and of the partners;

2.2.3 Payment

Some Services available on the Site are subject to a fee. To this end, you agree that we may use payment service providers who may collect your personal data for the purpose of enabling the proper functioning of credit card payment processing and, where applicable, product delivery services.

To pay for your purchase, you must provide your billing information and your payment information, i.e:

  • your payment card number
  • the name of the cardholder
  • validity date and security codes

"Mazer consulting" uses the secure payment service provided by Stripe, Inc. The confidential data (16-digit credit card number, expiration date and CVX code) is transmitted encrypted directly to the Stripe, Inc. server. and Mazer consulting does not have access to this data.

You may also be asked to provide a valid cell phone number in order to provide purchase instructions directly through your cell phone.

We keep details of your payments, as well as details of the purchases you make. The details of the transactions are kept either at Mazer consulting or at the external provider. This retention is for internal purposes, including accounting, compliance and legal purposes, in accordance with this Charter.

2.2.4 Other communications

When creating your Account, you may give your prior consent to receive our newsletters about new products, services and promotions as part of the Services.

In any case, you have the right to withdraw your consent to receive such newsletters at any time and without charge under the conditions provided in paragraph 7 of the Charter.

2.2.5 Contacts

In order to respond to requests you may make to our Customer Service Department, to confirm information and any transactions in your Account and to provide you with information regarding the Services (for example, if you lose your password or if changes are made to the Terms of Use), we will use your first and last name and email address.

3. How do we protect your personal data?

We have implemented technical and organizational security measures to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of all your personal data, in order to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorized parties. We ensure an appropriate level of security, taking into account the state of knowledge, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing as well as the risks and their likelihood.

However, it is specified that no security measure is infallible and that "Mazer consulting" is not able to guarantee absolute security for your personal data.

In addition, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password used to access your Account. Do not share this information with anyone. If you share your computer, please remember to log out before leaving the Site.

4. When do we share your personal data?

4.1 Sharing your personal data with third parties

During your navigation on the Site, your personal data may be transmitted to external service providers. These third parties provide a service on our behalf to enable the smooth operation of credit card payments and other Services.

Personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (such as the United States, Morocco and Madagascar) for the purpose of processing your requests, entering the Formalities and hosting and securing the personal data.

In accordance with the RGPD, all transfers of personal data to a country outside the European Union and/or not offering a level of protection considered sufficient by the European Commission have been subject to cross-border flow agreements in accordance with the standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission and declared to the CNIL. 5. How long do we keep your personal data?

6. Cookies: how do we use them?

6.1 What is a cookie?
